Transforming Spaces: A Custom Mural for a Melbourne Photography Studio
I recently had the opportunity to create a custom mural for a dynamic photography studio in Fitzroy, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out.
This project was commissioned by the owner, Lindsay Morgan, for the grand opening. It was a true collaboration that brought her vision to life while allowing me to infuse my signature street art and stencil art techniques into a piece that now plays a key role in her creative space.
Lindsay and I first connected at Rose Street Artist’s Market, where she was immediately drawn to one of my existing artworks. She wanted something similar but on a grander scale—something that would serve as a striking backdrop for her photographers while aligning perfectly with her brand aesthetic.
The result?
A multi-layered art wall, rich in texture and depth, that embodies the feminine, untamed spirit I love to capture in my work.

Her new photography studio, XI XI Studio, in Fitzroy is an absolute wonderland for creatives. Walking into the space, I was blown away by the sheer variety of backgrounds and sets she has meticulously curated. From intimate living room setups to vibrant large-scale murals, every detail is designed to provide endless possibilities for photographers and brands looking to tell their stories visually.
Lindsay has even incorporated several movable walls with distinct artwork (including mine), giving her clients the freedom to experiment with different esthetics in their shoots.
Beyond the incredible visuals, her studio is fully equipped with professional lighting, a seamless white infinity wall, and even a dedicated makeup station where she works her magic.
Whether you're a portrait photographer, a brand looking for high-quality visuals, or an artist in search of a unique space, XI XI Studio offers an inspiring environment to bring your ideas to life.
This project was an absolute joy to work on, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an innovative space.
