Upcoming Group Art Classes

Starting Monday February 2nd

Beginners Drawing Class

at Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Centre

I’ll be running a brand-new class, Discover the Art of Drawing—one mark at a time!—perfect if you’ve always wanted to learn the foundations or if you’re itching to sharpen your skills.

You’ll dive into the fundamentals of drawing using charcoal and graphite. The first half of the term will strengthen your eye and hand with classic observational drawing—really learning how to see. In the second half, you’ll loosen up and push into expressive mark making, experimentation, and building your own creative voice.

By the end, you’ll bring everything together in a final project of your choice—something uniquely yours.

Materials are not included, but I’ll provide you with a clear list so you can get exactly what you need before we begin.

Mondays Feb 2-Mar 30, 9:30am-12pm (Note there will be no session Monday March 9th)

Cost: $200 for 8 weeks

Discover the Joy of Mixed Media: Layering Colour, Pattern & Play

at Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Centre

I’ll be teaching a mixed media art course. This one is for you to explore, experiment, and get hands-on with all the techniques I use in my own paintings. Each week, you’ll play with a different set of materials—think acrylics, inks, spray paints, collage elements, and more.

As the weeks build, so will your confidence. By the end of the term, you’ll use your favourite techniques to create a final project that’s layered, bold, and entirely your own.

Mondays Starting Feb 2- Mar 30, 12:30pm-3pm (Note there will be no session Monday March 9th)

Cost: $240 for 8 weeks, Materials Included

Starting Friday February 27th

Foundations of Acrylic Painting

at Outlook Centre, Pakenham

Ready to develop your painting skills?

Join me for a five-week exploration of acrylic painting that blends technical skill with personal expression. You’ll learn how to mix vibrant, harmonious colours, create depth through layering, and develop a confident, intuitive painting process.

Each week builds on the last — from monochrome studies and colour harmony exercises to your own multi-layered final piece.

Whether you’re new to painting or looking to reconnect with your creative spark, this class offers a supportive space to experiment, learn, and grow.

Fridays Starting Feb 27, 12:45pm-2:45pm

Cost: $130 for 5 weeks, Materials Not Included, Materials List Will be Supplied
