I just can’t get over how cute this painting turned out.
You know when something just makes you smile every time you see it?
That’s exactly how I felt painting this custom pet portrait of the sweetest little chihuahua.
This commission came from a returning collector—she’d previously commissioned a large painting from me (you can check that one out here) and came back to celebrate her fur baby in paint.
We decided on a pop art style pet portrait, something bright, and bold—just like her pup. She picked out the colour palette to make the piece even more personal, and sent me a few photos of her dog to work from. I chose the one that would shine best as a painting, created a digital mockup so she could visualise the final piece, and once she gave the thumbs up... I dove in.
The finished painting is colourful and full of love—just like the little chihuahua himself.
