I met Robbie at the Rose Street Artist Market, where he told me he was looking for a custom portrait of his daughter for her upcoming birthday.
He had already chosen one of my artworks whose style he wanted emulated, and he gave me an idea of the colour scheme his daughter liked, and what kind of furnishings she had in her home.
He also emailed a couple different pictures of her to use as a reference.
I created the artwork and submitted it for review. He just had some minor changes, which I made. Once he was happy with it, voila! Next thing you know she was off in the post.
I'm so happy to hear that his daughter loved the portrait! It's now hanging proudly on her wall, and I'm grateful to Robbie for giving me the opportunity to create something so special for her.
