Corporate Art with a Story
A Custom Office Artwork Inspired by Tech History
When an audio-visual distributor moved into a brand-new office, they needed more than just furniture to make the space feel like home.
They needed something that spoke to who they are, where they’ve been, and where they’re going—and that’s why they decided to commission a custom artwork.
I had the pleasure of creating this entryway artwork for a company with deep roots in the tech industry. They started out selling computer hard drives back when these things were cutting-edge—a time when the future of technology was still a thrilling unknown.

This corporate artwork is a nod to that history, inspired by the old IBM commercial produced by Jim Henson, which was later remixed into a B(if)tek song.
It’s a playful take on how we once saw technology—filled with dreams, optimism, and a touch of naivety.
Today, we hand over so many decisions to AI, trusting its ability to process mountains of data—but do we ever stop to ask if it really knows best?
This piece is part homage, part satire, and all about the evolution of technology. It’s a conversation starter, a nostalgic throwback, and a reminder of how far we’ve come.
